Historically, annual oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) screening had remained below 40% among adults with cystic fibrosis, and challenges persisted. New alternatives for screening CF-related diabetes (CFRD) have been explored. This session highlighted hands-on approaches that had been successfully used for OGTT screening, dietary interventions for managing dysglycemia, and promising research on the treatment of abnormal glucose tolerance and early CFRD.
