Kate Crane CRAFTalong: Art Journal Page
Join Kate as she uses a combination of products and techniques to build a cohesive art journal page, which you can personalise to meet your own creative style at every step of the way. It will all be down to the colours and stamps you choose to combine them with. Join her for a fun craft-along to create a mixed media multi-layered background on an art journal page topped with a crazy ‘Frankensteined’ stamp!
Use a combination of brayered Frescos and inky Infusions, along with a stencil to create a quick and easy but nicely layered background. Add a bit of extra texture stamping along with a few splatters to build a busy but cohesive page. Then create a whole new fun ‘Frankenstein’ character by combining elements from different stamp sets.
Kate works here on loose leaf card and layers it up on Kraft before adding to her journal, but you can work directly in a journal if you’d prefer. There’s lots of flexibility here – anything goes!
Products used:
• Frescos (I will use Snowflake, Gold, Prawn, Watermelon, Kiwi Gold)
• Infusions (I will use Magenta, Golden Sands)
• Stamps of your choice (I will use KC018, KC019, KC020 & mini KCM021)
• Stencil: PS504
• Anything for colouring images: watercolours, Mattints etc
• Other: Brayer, small sponge, white pen, Stabilo All or any dark pencil, inkpads, Stickles, Glue, 3-D sticky fixers, old junk for stamping
This video is a saved Livestream from Facebook.
This CRAFTalong was recorded on 3rd March 2026

We support our stockists by not competing with them. That means these stamps are available EXCLUSIVELY from an approved PaperArtsy stockist for at least 6-12 months after the release date, beyond that you will find all our stamps released since 2004 on the PaperArtsy website.
We give this exclusive to stores to encourage you to support them, it makes sense to order within your country where possible, you get things faster, cheaper and without the hassle of import fees.
If however, you are looking for back catalogue PaperArtsy products, then sure, come direct to us, we ship worldwide from France.
Please be aware we manufacture all our products here on site in France. NOTHING is outsourced. We press only red rubber stamps, we bottle our fresco chalk paints and infusions, we laser cut the stencils. We then package and ship from France, nothing is made in China!
If you suspect you have viewed counterfeit copies of our products on any website, then please send the link to the suspected fraudulent listing to sales@paperartsy.com
This is outright theft, copying PaperArtsy designs is illegal, and we WILL report and take down such listings FAST.
We have been doing so for almost 10 years. We do NOT tolerate theft of our intellectual property, no matter where in the world you are based.
Thankyou for sharing such links with us it is extremely helpful for our brand, and the success of the retailers who sell our products.
