First Day at Alta – Deep Powder in Utah

Our first day skiing Alta, Utah, and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction. A fresh powder day had the mountain covered in soft snow, giving us the chance to explore Alta and get into some seriously fun turns. Alta is famous for its legendary snowfall and unique terrain, and this day delivered exactly what we came looking for — deep powder, great skiing, and classic Wasatch scenery. We spent the day exploring the mountain, finding fresh snow wherever we could, and enjoying the first of what would be several great days in Utah.
