Driving Through Yesterday is a melancholic journey through memory, following a road that moves forward while the mind travels backward. From the present through childhood and into a time before memory, the song blends atmospheric progressive post-punk, warm bass, distant piano, and slow cinematic guitars into a reflection on places, people, and moments that quietly disappear with time. Lyrics: The GPS counts down the next village. The dashboard glows blue. Rain gathers at the edge of the windshield. Everything moves forward. Except the road. The motorway becomes a two-lane road. The petrol stations wear different colours. There's a cassette on the passenger seat. Someone laughs before the next sentence is forgotten. The road narrows again. The asphalt becomes gravel. The mountains grow taller. The car becomes the back seat. I watch telephone poles count themselves toward home. There are no roads. Only fields before the first map. Only sky before names. Only wind moving through grass that doesn't remember who will one day cross it. #PostPunk #Darkwave #Coldwave #GothicRock #AlternativeRock #CinematicMusic #ProgressiveRock #AtmosphericMusic #BaritoneVocals #IndieMusic
