Today, Ahmad set off to the surrounding mountains in the morning to collect more firewood for the winter before the cold sets in. During this time, Farida stayed in the tent, looked after their belongings, tidied up the place, and then started preparing their simple meal. After a few hours, Ahmad returned home with a shovel and the collected firewood. He carefully stacked the firewood in a shed so that it would be ready for the cold and snowy days of winter. Then he went to their small garden and watered it so that the vegetables and herbs they had planted with great effort would remain lush. When the food was ready, Ahmad and Farida sat together and ate their meal in peace.
