Cave Exploring in Europe

Caving footage from Caving Academy 2023 in a small village near Budapest, Hungary. Caving Academy is a Delaware based nonprofit with the mission to develop outstanding instructors and provide them with the resources and support necessary to deliver exceptional education and training opportunities. The week long instructional course was invaluable to me as a newbie caver. Most of my "training" up to that point was learning from local folks in their backyard. It was great to get started, but CA developed me so much further in such a short period of time. My comfort and confidence on rope increased dramatically, as did my skills, thanks to all the CA instructors. This video includes footage of mostly Apple Cave, which includes a great rope course to practice our rope skills. The end includes a bit of the descent of another cave with a Hungarian name I cannot spell or pronounce. I think that cave was one of the deepest in the country.
