Hiking the Kaimai Ridgeline - Overnight Tramp to the old North - South Track

I went and checked out the old North - South track ridgeline route in Kaimai Mamaku Conservation Park, which has apparently been spruced up a bit in recent years. I was not disappointed with the views and the challenge, incorporating it into a loop with Waitawheta Hut from Wharawhara Road.
