The BookerLAB Story

Based out of Liberty, South Carolina, BookerLAB is led by Tom O’Hanlan, who founded the tech company Sealevel Systems in the 1980s. He is bringing his vast knowledge of technology solutions together with his passion for music with BookerLAB, which strives to maintain the quality of vintage musical instruments and supporting gear, specifically the Leslie Speaker.. Leslie Speakers are most often associated with the Hammond organ, and that combined musical sound provided the backbone for some of the biggest bands of the 1960s rock era including the Beatles, Cream, Pink Floyd and the Doors. But they aren’t just secular, thousands of churches across America use Leslie Speakers to amplify organs on Sunday mornings. BookerLAB products replace or add functionality for the old parts of the Leslie Speaker using modern technology, but keeps the vintage sound that the systems are known for.
