JOHAR Join us as we visit Morabadi Ground, Ranchi, to experience Adivasi Diwas for the very first time! It was a memorable day filled with vibrant tribal culture, traditional clothing, beautiful handicrafts, delicious local food, and many interesting stalls. While exploring the event, we saw people representing different tribal communities and got a glimpse of their unique traditions, art, lifestyle, and connection with nature. We also visited several food stalls and tried some tasty dishes. Since this was our first experience, we could not capture everything perfectly, but we hope this video still gives you a feel of the celebration and our journey. Adivasi Diwas, also known as the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, is observed every year on 9 August. The United Nations designated this occasion in 1994, and the date commemorates the first meeting of the UN Working Group on Indigenous Populations in 1982. The day raises awareness about the rights, cultures, knowledge, and contributions of Indigenous peoples worldwide.
