Splat 1/100: A Stone F1 Car in the Pit Lane (Gaussian Splat × SketchUp), Hotel Meilenstein, Langenthal
A Formula One car carved entirely from stone. Red carpet, stanchions, and a car park full of ordinary cars around it.
This is the first of 100 splats, captured by Josua Hönger of ON3D on an XGRIDS PortalCam. In this episode, I isolate the stone car from its surroundings and drop it into an F1 garage from 3D Warehouse, right beside a real F1 car. From there it becomes an event concept: a black-tie evening at the museum, rendered by day and by night with SketchUp’s AI render.
Early concept? Absolutely. But a convincing one.
