There's something about Don Salvador Benedicto that makes you want to slow down, enjoy the cool mountain air, and appreciate the beauty of nature. 🌲⛰️ After our overnight stay at Chalet de Maria, we decided to make the most of our remaining time in DSB by visiting some of its popular roadside attractions with our family and vlog squad. Our first stop was the famous Lion Statue near the DSB Viewing Deck, one of the town's familiar landmarks and a favorite spot for travelers taking souvenir photos. With the beautiful mountain scenery in the background, it was the perfect place to capture another memory from our getaway. And because no mountain trip feels complete without a coffee break, we made a quick stop at Editha Store for coffee and snacks before continuing our adventure. ☕ The weather wasn't always on our side. Occasional rain accompanied us throughout the day, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of Don Salvador Benedicto. Another highlight was our visit to the famous Pinewood Forest, also known for its beautiful pine trees. Walking around the area, enjoying the greenery, and taking group photos made us appreciate why DSB remains such a popular destination in Negros Occidental. We also bought one of the local pancake-like delicacies being sold by roadside vendors, adding another little food discovery to our mountain adventure. More than the tourist attractions, this trip was about enjoying the company of family and friends and collecting memories that we can look back on for years to come. If you're planning a road trip to Don Salvador Benedicto, this episode gives you a glimpse of some of the beautiful places you can include in your itinerary.
