Appalachian Folk - a playlist

I have recently been really into this type of music. As someone who grew up at the edge of Appalachian I find a lot of joy in this type of music. I find that this music is connected to the land and the traditions of the people who grew up in the mountains. This music makes me wanna go run outside in the woods barefoot and connect with nature. 0:00 - Hares On The Mountain by The Local Honeys 3:19 - With Kitty I’ll Go by Jean Ritchie 5:29 - Pennsylvania Grass by Caledonia 9:40 - The One I Love Is Gone by Hazel Dickens + Alice Gerard 12:48 - Pinnacle Mountain Silver Mine By Golden Shoals 15:28 - Ain’t No Grave by The Crooked Jades 18:54 - Down in the Willow Braden (Rose Connolly) by Iron Mountain String Band
