Gavin Cormack - Innovation in Civil Engineering and Structural Design

This will be a special gathering and our guest speaker for the evening is Gavin Cormack, who was an Executive Chairman of Beca for many years and the founder of Beca’s bridging team and led them for more than three decades. Gavin will do this by describing his direct experiences with the South Rangitikei Railway Viaduct and five other important civil engineering projects. We will learn about his personal development as a successful bridge engineer and other personal activities outside the work.
