NES Pal Edition #12: Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse {3/3} [Grant Path (B stages) NES Pal Gameplay]

Entry #12 {3/3} This is a full Playthrough of the Pal Version of Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse on the NES. Unlike the first two installments of the Castlevania Series on Nes, this game was optimised for the Pal market. The game was branded under the Palcom Software trademark for Pal distribution. The game was also altered from the US version. The enemy hitpoints got reduced and the amount of damage you take is similar to the Japanese version. The Pal version is sort of a mix between the US and Japanese version. This is the hardest Castlevania game on the Nes by far. I choose Grant as my spiritual partner and went the Alucard path this time, while choosing level 6B, the flooded city of dragons (or the sunken city of poltergeists). After this stage follows the hardest level in the game, 7B the jagged cliffeside path (orcliffside entrance). This stage is long and hard and really unfair at times. After that part the stages become a bit easier again. This was overall a pretty good playthrough. I choose Grant as my spiritual partner. He comes in handy when you want to skip a certain part of a stage because he has the ability to climb on walls and he is very fast. The fight against Dracula went really smooth. The Game was played on an original European NES Model. I used the original controllers. The Gameplay was recorded with an HDMI capture card using OBS. The composite signal of the NES got converted to an HDMI signal with the help of an adapter. I hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching!
