In this series: Now that I've done a Let's Play of LEGO Batman 1, I might as well move on to LEGO Batman 2. I first played this game on Wii, like the first game. And, like the first game, the only reason I have it on Steam is because a bundle containing the first three LEGO Batman video games plus a then ongoing sale meant that buying LEGO Batman 3 (the only one I had yet to purchase at that point) would have cost me the same as buying the bundle, so I saved myself some money and bought all three at once. I later got a mod to add the DLC characters to the PC version, where they never released as official DLC. In this video: Melting the gold LEGO locks so I can activate the Batcomputer Remote Terminals for air vehicles and Gotham Beach (Yacht Club is one of two Deconstructed ones) but deciding to wait to activate them on the southern island, I continue the story. Batman takes Robin's Helicopter and Superman flies, both in pursuit of a Lexcorp aircraft that, as far as I know, is never given an official name. It seems to be a VTOL like the LexCorp Mini-VTOL and Micro-VTOL craft we fight in this game. Upon making it to the bridge, where Lex and the Joker are waiting, Joker activates a trap door. After noticing Batman's not next to him and rescuing him, the VTOL loses the World's Finest (the term the comics use for Batman and Superman teaming up) and makes it to LexCorp's headquarters in Metropolis, where they're building a giant robot in the Joker's likeness.
