In this video, we continue building our local DevOps Lab on a MacBook M1.
We'll prepare the virtualization environment that we'll use throughout this DevOps Lab series.
In this video
Create a Broadcom account
Download VMware Fusion Pro for Mac
Install VMware Fusion
Download Ubuntu Server for Apple Silicon / ARM64
Create a custom virtual network (vNet) for the DevOps lab
Configure the network subnet
Allow virtual machines on the custom network to access the internet
Prepare the environment for creating our first virtual machine
The goal of this series is to build a practical DevOps environment locally so we can experiment with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD without having to recreate the entire lab from scratch every time.
💻 My Lab Setup

This is Part 2 of the DevOps Lab series.
In the upcoming videos, we'll continue building the environment and eventually use it for real-world DevOps workflows, including Jenkins, GitHub webhooks and CI/CD.
