Great White Shark 23rd August 2026

A decent size sub adult white pointer today at Sleaford Bay, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Not sure if I've come across this one before, it's got a couple of small scars behind the gills on both sides which of course could be new. When I have some free time I'll have a look at its white markings and compare to other white sharks of similar size that I've filmed. It headed straight past "the mine" and towards "lone pine" couple of local surf spots but no surfers out today otherwise I would've given them the heads up. One of the clips you can see a couple of dolphins close by the shark but I was about a minute too late to see them pass by each other.
