Solanum - An Illusion of time - Dungeon Synth Cover - Supernatural Darkness

An essential piece from the DS lexicon. Spheres of Time has remained one of my all time listened to projects in the Dungeon synth realm. I have wanted to play this cover for a long time and finally found the time to sit down and learn it properly. The piece is in an ABA format: An ethereal buildup section with an upwards ascending arp. Soaring flutes that continue to reach upwards as the section begins to soar. Eventually falling back down in the B section. For the first two sections I remained faithful to the original, however on the return A section I wanted to add something of my own. More percussive elements were added including tambourine, a hand drum (bodhran), filtered to sound as a bass drum, and then finally drum machine to close out the track.
