What Does It Mean to Find Yourself? The Answer That Will Change Your Life

In this video, the Master explores what it truly means to “find yourself” and why this search cannot be fulfilled through external success, social identity or even subtle spiritual experiences. The teaching leads step by step through the layers of consciousness, karmic patterns and false identities toward the direct recognition of the true Self. What remains when we go beyond the body, ego, vasanas and even the causal level of consciousness? How do Jnana Yoga, Atma Vichara and Pancha Kosha Viveka help us uncover what is real? And why does the deepest search ultimately lead beyond all dualities to pure awareness and the divine Self? Main topics: • Karma Mara, Maya Mara, Anava Mara and Yoga Mara as stages of the search for oneself • The five koshas, subtle layers of consciousness and false identities • Jnana Yoga, Atma Vichara and the direct inquiry “Who am I?” • Liberation through transcending vasanas, ego and duality and realizing the divine Self 🕒 Timestamps: 0:00 What does it mean to find yourself? 1:01 Karma Mara and Maya Mara — unconscious life and chasing illusions 3:18 Why external success cannot bring lasting happiness 4:12 The beginning of the real search for oneself 7:07 Anava Mara — personal growth and development of the ego 8:11 Yoga Mara — searching for something beyond the social self 9:28 The layers of consciousness and the five koshas 11:49 Going beyond the subtle world 12:06 Jnana Yoga — searching for God within oneself 13:49 The true Self is beyond even the causal body 14:04 Atma Vichara — the direct inquiry “Who am I?” 15:43 The real search for oneself is inward 19:02 Seeing through vasanas, karmic patterns and false identities 20:38 Beyond the ego: emptiness, pure awareness and divinity 24:26 Pancha Kosha Viveka and liberation from the layers of consciousness 29:00 Transcending all dualities and realizing the divine Self If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to give it a Like and share it with your friends.
