Roman's Date: Bring Your Dad | First Dates UK | S7 E1

Celebs hit the First Dates restaurant as Roman scores a Thorpe Park plan, Sinita toasts tequila with Nick, and an MP's hair chat sparks awkward laughs. The red carpet rolls for 80s pop princess Sinita, who steadies her nerves with tequila while 44-year-old Nick orders a margarita. He loves music but doesn't recognise her hits, which suits her just fine. Over cheese and laughter, she opens up about miscarriages, IVF and surrogacy heartbreak, and the joy of adopting two children. Courtly and kind, Nick wins a second date and a promise: she’ll send him a mixtape of her songs. Across the room, Conservative MP Michael Fabricant arrives jittery, shares a pina colada nose-to-nose with 61-year-old fantasy novelist Jan, and blurts, “We’re sharing each other’s saliva.” Politics, pop culture and nerves collide, and when she teases him about his Boris-like hair, the vibe turns thorny. Michael later shares that he is bisexual; they part warmly, agreeing friendship may be the better path. Radio early bird Roman meets Lucy from Slough. They flirt over theme parks, she clocks his job at Capital, and, after a few family revelations, admits his dad might be “fit.” Their banter lands on the perfect plan: a second date at Thorpe Park. “Bring your dad,” she jokes. Veteran news star Jan enjoys an old-school romance with 71-year-old gentleman Richard. From a pitch-perfect David Attenborough impression to a whirlwind tour of vitamin routines, they click fast and float the idea of Paris for date two. With surprise cameos (hello, Matt Terry) and heartfelt moments, this starry edition raises money for Stand Up To Cancer and closes with an unflinching story of resilience from Anita. If you believe in love, consider supporting Stand Up To Cancer. #FirstDatesUK #CelebrityFirstDates #Roman #Sinita #MichaelFabricant #SU2C
