The story of Eko on Atari Falcon
The demoscene has always been a fascinating underground world of creativity, coding mastery, and digital art — and the Atari ST demoscene played an important role in its evolution. In this video, we dive deep into the story of Eko, one of the most influential groups in the Atari Falcon scene. From their very first demos, their rivalry with other scene legends, i uncover the history thru details and some anecdotes from the past. All documented with some magazines articles.
All the content in this video have been discussed and validated by Eko members and even some other guys in the demoscene.
The Atari ST demoscene played a crucial role in the 1990s, pushing the boundaries of what was possible on 16/32 bits computers and shaping the evolution of digital art, coding techniques, and underground computing culture. This video will take you back to the golden age of pixel-perfect animations and mind-blowing code tricks on 16/32 bits computers.
Disclaimer : For experts : I used a SC 1224 monitor in this video that may not match with the Falcon. I just did not find any SC1435 3d model.
