My FIA TCR World Tour Debut... and I started on POLE!!

My FIA TCR World Tour debut is finally here! Join me behind the scenes as I take on my first weekend in the FIA TCR World Tour at the iconic Misano World Circuit in Italy, making my debut with ALM Motorsport. It was a weekend full of highs and lows. ✅ Strong pace from the start with P6 in Free Practice 1. ✅ Progressing into Q2 in qualifying with a competitive Q1 lap. ❌ A tyre change between sessions and a track limits penalty meant we could only qualify P11. Fortunately, a post-session disqualification promoted us to P10 for Race 1 and Pole Position for Race 2. Race 1 unfortunately ended almost as soon as it began after contact at Turn 1 damaged the splitter, forcing an early retirement. Race 2 was one I’ll never forget. Starting from pole, I got away cleanly and led the FIA TCR World Tour for six laps before tyre degradation meant we dropped back into the pack of factory drivers. We crossed the line in P8, but it was an incredible first taste of racing at the highest level of TCR competition. The results don’t tell the full story, but the pace, confidence and potential were there from the very first weekend. It’s a solid foundation to build on for the rest of the season.
