With this stereotypical and funny Osaka family we go out on many adventures, exploring food and activities from the Kansai area. The silly topics and very thick Kansai dialect are only few of the reasons why this show is fun and easygoing. The comical roles of the family bring a warm feeling of Osaka which makes matsumoto ke an easy watch. Although all members are dressed up as their individual roles, the costume play manages to be secondary to the actual content of the show. However, the hierarchy of the family is true to their real life relationship with each other. Matsumoto being the senior, is given the role as the matriarch, Hotohara following him, and so on. This might not be the ultimate show for someone studying a bit of Japanese as the kansai dialect is indeed overwhelming. However! Considering the talent of all these four members it’s a blast for anyone who doesn’t know it anyway.
