“Delivering STEP: the role of Regions in advancing Europe’s Strategic Technologies”, appuntamento promosso dalla Regione Siciliana inserito nel programma “EURegionsWeek Close to you”. L’iniziativa, organizzata in collaborazione con la Regione Campania e la Regione dell’Algarve, è dedicata alla Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) e al ruolo delle Regioni nel trasformare le priorità europee in investimenti concreti, capaci di rafforzare la competitività, la resilienza e la sovranità tecnologica dell’Europa, contribuendo a ridurre il divario tecnologico e competitivo dell’UE rispetto alle principali economie extra-UE. L’evento propone un confronto tra Commissione europea, Governo italiano e Amministrazioni regionali, attraverso le esperienze di Sicilia, Campania e Algarve, offrendo una prospettiva multilivello sull’attuazione di STEP nell’ambito della Politica di coesione. “Delivering STEP: the role of Regions in advancing Europe’s Strategic Technologies”, an event organised by the Sicilian Region as part of the “EURegionsWeek Close to you” programme. The initiative, organised in collaboration with the Campania Region and the Algarve Region, is dedicated to the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) and the role of regions in transforming European priorities into concrete investments capable of strengthening. Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and technological sovereignty, thereby helping to reduce the technological and competitive gap between the EU and the major non-EU economies. The event provides a forum for dialogue between the European Commission, the Italian Government and regional authorities, drawing on the experiences of Sicily, Campania and the Algarve, and offering a multi-level perspective on the implementation of STEP within the framework of Cohesion Policy.
