Wild Camping With My Dog

Me and my dog went out again despite the weather being horrid. As I have recently purchased the OEX Hyena I really wanted to test how water resistant it is. Unfortunately the tent leaked in just before i was going to pack it away. It did take a battering throughout the night. My dog Ruby was in her element loving every minute. As it rained so much High Force had a double fall which i have only seen a couple of times, it is really nice to get to see it again. Also the rain hitting the tent during the night is such a relaxing sound. I love it when it is horrible outside but in the tent I am warm and cosey. I left no trace as per usual. The OEX traverse mat and pillow was comfortable, it helped that the ground was soft to. I ended up being too hot using the OEX Evolution 4 season sleeping bad. The food i cooked was spot on using my new cooking equipment was fun it literally has everything i need to cook anywhere. Overall the camp was a success , I was slightly nervous at first as i haven't been out on my own for some time. Arriving late and leaving early is the key. Music by Bensound.
