My New Russell McCumber 5-String Fiddle!

My new Russell McCumber 5-string fiddle (or 5-string violin?) is an absolute beast! Warm and rich on the low end, and bright and comfy on the high end. Not shrill in any register, and it’s balanced across its full range. I have played Ike 9 McCumber fiddles and they are all knockouts. Check out Russell’s site: https://russellmccumberviolins.com It’s got so much volume that the mic was peaking in a few places, so if you hear some distortion, it’s not the fiddle. Search YouTube for recent videos of Tony Trischka to hear it in a band settling.
