Wishing HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my viewers and subscribers! Here is a video featuring one of the last 1970s refurbished Fujitec Lift still surviving as of 2021 (this footage was recorded on 28 December 2020 btw) This block originally have 2 1970s Fujitecs until MUP came and former Lift A (now Lift B) got a cab refurbishment as well as fixtures replaced while former Lift B (now Lift C) was replaced to serve every floor. In mid-2010s, LUP came and new Lift A was installed. That was when they renamed Lift A and B to B and C respectively. Originally they wanted to indirectly replaced the 1 door lift but thankfully they didn't. Hopefully the current Lift B won't get replaced by SLRP soon as well as the 1 door Fujitec Lift at Block 241 Hougang and Block 32 Balam Road. Unfortunately the 1 door lift at Block 537 Hougang got replaced by Mitsubishi Singapore (MSG) under SLRP. Thankfully there are no signs of replacement for Lift B yet. At this moment I might not film bus rides yet (Including Bus service 384) but I might upload a video of SMB125J and SMB109G on bus service 61 soon. Sorry to all Bus Enthusiasts. Technical specifications for; Lift A: Manufacture: Fujitec Built: Mid 2010s Capacity: 10 persons/680kg Floors served: 1 to 11 History: Additional Installation under LUP Lift B: Manufacture: Fujitec Built: Late 1970s (refurbished in the early 2000s) Capacity: 8 persons/540kg Floors served: 1, 6, 10 History: Refurbished under MUP in 2000s, original manufacture Lift C: Manufacture: Fujitec Built: 2000s Capacity: 10 persons/680kg Floors served: 1-11 History: Replaced as part of MUP, original manufacture
