GMTV: the best toys for Christmas 2000

A clip of GMTV from Friday, 24th November, 2000 - the day the PlayStation 2 launched - looking at all the must-haves for the upcoming festive season, including board games, scooters, Tracy Island, robotic dogs (to save you the anxiety, he does indeed ultimately fall off the table at 2:55), and much more. I like how the bloke refers to those last ones as "interactive dogs" - you know, unlike the real creatures, which are notoriously unsociable. Meanwhile, the president of the British Association of Toy Retailers - one David Fogel - drops into the studio for a chat on the subjects of the inevitable Christmas shortages and high prices.
