I am going to show you how to make cocopeat from Cocobrick or Cocoblock. After purchasing Cocobrick from nursery or online you can convert it into cocopeat for garden uses. After unboxing open the cocobrick and dip it into water for 10 minutes. coco peat will form then wash it properly in water and remove excess water from it. Dry it under full Sunlight for 2 days in winter and 1 day in summer is enough. Separate the coir portion if found and store it for future use or make potting soil with it. It is a very easy process,you can do it at home. Benefits of coco peat :- 1. coco peat is natural soil less growing media for any kind of plants like flowers,vegetables and for ornamental plants also. 2. it has the properties of rooting hormone & anti fungal 3. It is a well water holding capacity,3 to 5 times than your normal potting soil mix. So need not to water again and again. 4. It is very light in weight and good for terrace gardening or rooftop farming. 5. It is fully sterilized so that no germs or bacteria will grow into soil mixture. 6. It is good medium for air circulation i.e plant's roots can get oxygen anytime and will grow happily. 7. It is ideal for a balanced pH soil mixture.
