From there, the walk heads toward Odori, passing through the city streets and seeing one of Sapporo’s streetcars along the way. At Odori Park, the Sapporo Autumn Fest is underway, with food stalls, visitors, and a lively seasonal atmosphere. You’ll also see the Sapporo TV Tower and a horse-drawn carriage carrying sightseers through the city. The walk then continues back underground through Aurora Town and other parts of Sapporo’s underground shopping area before returning to the surface. Back in Odori Park, a live brass performance is taking place outdoors, adding to the atmosphere of the day. From there, the walk continues past the TV Tower area and heads toward the Sapporo Clock Tower, before finishing at the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, also known as the Red Brick Office. Although it was already mid-September, the day was still quite warm, with clear skies and a light autumn feel in the air.
