I Made My FL5 Honda Civic Type-R Sound INSANE! AWE Touring Exhaust Install!

👋 Let's finally install my favorite modification for my FL5 Honda Civic Type-R! Today I install the AWE touring exhaust for my 2024 Honda Civic Type-R! This kit fits all FL5 models and you have a choice of the Touring or Track along with chrome tips or black tips. AWE also makes these kits for the FK8 Type-R and the 10th/11th generation Civic Si. This kit I install today also fits the DE5 Integra Type-S! While the stock FL5 Type-R does feature an active valve, it is next to useless. You can't tell a difference with it open or closed from inside the cabin. Overall you can't hear the stock exhaust while driving. All you hear is the fake engine sounds when in R mode. So this AWE Touring kit lets you listen to the exhaust note perfectly! The 180 technology in the resonator/muffler for the Touring kit eliminates all drone using sound chambers to turn around the drone frequencies. I'm very impressed with how good the Type-R now sounds! This is a very grown up and mature exhaust not to emphasize the performance of the new FL5 Type-R. Also the chrome tips pop so well in the diffuser and just look so cool with the triple design. Installation was pretty easy overall. A bit tight under the car getting to the front pipe, but everything came off as expected and it was super easy to line up the new AWE exhaust on the FL5 Type-R for a perfect fit!
