Leaving Dakar was an adventure in itself. It took me almost an hour just to escape the city's endless traffic, noise, and chaos. But once I finally leave the city behind, I soon discover that I have a new problem. The engine is getting seriously hot… and then I notice something I definitely don't want to see: oil leaking from the motorcycle. Today, I have two stops along the way: Kayar and Lompoul-sur-Mer, two small fishing villages on the Atlantic coast, where life still follows the rhythm of the ocean. Just dirt roads, heat, endless landscapes, local villages, fishermen, animals… and encounters with the real Africa.
