Therefore, it is crucial to generate an ideally structured Hex mesh while avoiding stress singularities or understanding how to mitigate their impact on the SIF calculation. This tutorial presents several comprehensive examples that validate SIF calculations using B31J formulas. It covers solid modeling, shell modeling, Hex meshing, Tet meshing, and examines the influence of fillet size on the results, as well as the consequences of neglecting fillets.
