Championship Challenge Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh - Sunday

LIVE coverage from Shelsley Walsh, August 8+9, 2026 for the Championship Challenge speed hill climb with the fastest accelerating cars in the UK vying for points in the British Hill Climb Championship. The high point of the day’s coverage will be the Top 12 Run Offs just before lunch and at the end of the day. The stage is set for some very fast times indeed on the new-for-2026 tarmac surface at Shelsley Walsh! The 2026 championship chase is red hot between Will Hall, Wallace Menzies and Matthew Ryder who’ve all had Best Time of Day Awards at Shelsley over the years but who might be able to beat the record set by Will Hall in June 2026 of 22.33 seconds? The quickest cars will do 0-100mph in 4 seconds and then hit 165mph so it really is like F1 Up A Country Lane. Older than Indianapolis, Le Mans or Monza, Shelsley Walsh is still here, as old as the sport but as modern as today. Learn more about Shelsley Walsh at https://www.shelsleywalsh.com/
