Wild Elephant Calf Rescued After Falling Into a Pit During the night, a wild elephant calf fell into a pit while searching for food. Fortunately, wildlife officers responded quickly and launched a rescue operation to save the helpless calf. Using a JCB machine, the officers carefully worked to lift the elephant calf out of the pit. After a successful rescue, the young elephant was safely released back into the wild.
