After a nice holiday in Kefalonia, my 11th time on the Island, it was time to return to the UK. Unfortunately boarding was around 20 minutes late as the aircraft was late in from Stansted, apparently there were extreme taxiing delays at Stansted due to ATC. I've got to say, Kefalonia airport is not much to write home about despite being newly renovated it proved very sparse and disappointing, nevertheless chaotic, the airport can also only accommodate 3 aircraft in one go. Once pushed back a short taxi for departure towards the north from RWY32. The views after takeoff are pretty stunning as you can see so thanks to my dad for agreeing to film. As you can see during the cruise I moved to the back to get a window seat (thanks to Josh for giving up his window seat) And thanks to the cabin crew for letting me do the rubbish round and for having a great chat about life as cabin crew! (And the free model airplane but that's our little secret!) And thanks for letting me in the Cockpit once we'd landed. Crossing over Italy and over Germany and into Belguim and French airspace before crossing over the English Channel and further towards Stansted. We had to hold for quite a while before getting clearance to land and it was pretty windy too, so we ended up landing around 35 minutes behind schedule.
