Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office: Operation Street Sweeper

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to ensuring the safety of the citizens of Gwinnett County. The Field Operations Division conducted its second crime suppression effort for 2022 named “Operation Sweet Sweeper.” This operation consisted of the assistance of over 100 deputies from across all five of our divisions, four Crime Analysts, and the collaborative contribution of 2,784 staffing hours. Operation Street Sweeper resulted in attempting 257 warrants, serving 90 warrants, recovering two stolen weapons, and placing 44 individuals in custody over only three days. The arrests made ranged from Failure to Appear to Aggravated Assault. The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s office will continue to conduct crime suppression efforts to make Gwinnett County a safer place to live. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Do you have a desire to serve others?
