Superboss Showcase VIII - Dark Players: Twisted Reflections (Epic Battle Fantasy 5)

Five Paths Have Led to This A Twisted Gaze Into the Abyss This month's Superboss Showcase is a quintuple feature against the Dark Players of Epic Battle Fantasy 5! Difficulty (Matteus): 4/10 He definitely hurts and his 10-turn time limit is definitely intimidating, but his magical and status weaknesses curb a lot of his difficulty. Difficulty (Natalia): 6/10 Hits like a magical car crash and is surprisingly tanky thanks to her minions and spells. Not being able to heal with spells makes her attacks hit all the harder, but thankfully items still work. Not insane, but will absolutely mess you up if you're not ready. Difficulty (Annabelle): 7/10 Ugh. Not being able to use buffs in EBF is absolutely punishing, and the fact that debuffs still apply makes fighting her an utter slog. Add in the fact that she can heal and buff herself and her minions hit like trucks and you have one brutal fight. Difficulty (Lancelot): 5/10 Tough and hard hitting, plus no auto skills or summons to cushion the blow. That said, he has a few key weaknesses that can make the fight pretty quick with proper planning. Difficulty (God): 6/10 Probably the most punishing of the five, any deaths usually result in that party member staying dead, making the fight much harder. Debuffing him is the only way to hope to survive this, but thankfully that isn't too hard to do in this game. If we wanna be really technical here, only God (yes, that's what they call the fifth boss) should count as the game's true Superboss...but that's boring.
