While that marriage falls apart, Sahika goes to Hasan Ali asking for a truce, and he answers by drugging her drink at their own meeting. Within days Ender is standing in a morgue asked to identify a body, Sahika's own necklace turns up inside Hasan Ali's house, and Ender accuses him of murder in front of the whole family — before the truth about what actually happened to Sahika comes out.
