How to install matte PPF on the BMW X6 quarter panel

In this video, we’re showing one of the many ways to apply matte paint protection film (PPF) on the quarter panel of a BMW X6. Matte PPF demands extra care — any stretch marks or gloss spots can ruin the finish. That’s why each section was precisely aligned before installation. We removed the nearby trim pieces to allow for a cleaner fit and full edge coverage. The panel featured sharp curves near the fuel cap and rear arch, so we pre-stretched the film slightly and used heat to relax it perfectly into place.
