When Christian Prayers Saved the Roman Empire

In this video we read the letter of Marcus Aurelius to Rome regarding his harrowing experience in his campaign against the Germanic Tribes. During one critical moment of this campaign, the Roman Legion was surrounded by an insurmountable horde of enemies, suffered famine and dehydration, and faced certain destruction. By the power and grace of God, through the intercessory prayers of the Christian Legionaries, victory was miraculously granted and Rome saved. This account is taken out of Volume 6: St. Justin Martyr, The First Apology, of the Fathers of the Church Series.
