Stroll through the Viennese district named after a beer brand—or was it vice versa? We start at the Brunnenmarkt and make our way toward Thaliastraße. As we can see during the walk, a big part of Ottakrings population consists of hipsters, immigrants and beer enthusiasts. On our way we also realize that the district needs a lot of cooling during summer, as water spray systems making pedestrians wet on almost every corner. Thaliastraße offers plenty of local insights from Ottakring. before we finally arrive at the districts heart: the Ottakringer beer brewery. From there, we head back onto Thaliastraße and follow it almost to the end.
