In June 2026, a federal stop of Eugene Horsch near Independence Mall in Philadelphia led investigators to a house at 417 West Chew Avenue in Olney. He shared that house with his father, Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, who died in 2025 and was never charged.
Police have said they found more than a million files. Some videos appear to show women unconscious or dead. By mid-September 2026, investigators believed five women were dead and had connected seven people to the case. No bodies have been recovered. Eugene Horsch is in federal custody on gun and fake-credential charges only. Nobody has been convicted, and the search was still open in early October 2026.
