A Berean Halloween: The Ghost of John lyric video

👻 *The Ghost of John | A Haunting Halloween Folk Song* 🎃❄️ *Have you seen the ghost of John? Long white bones with the skin all gone Wouldn't it be chilly with no skin on?* What begins as a spooky Halloween mystery becomes a surprisingly touching story about friendship, loneliness, and a little ghost who just wants someone to play with. Late one night on Maple Street, two children discover a strange trail of bones leading past garbage cans, mailboxes, and church steps. Following the clues, they arrive at a frozen lake, where they meet John—a skeletal boy still skating in circles a year after falling through the ice. John wants them to come out and race him. But the children know better than to step onto the dangerous ice. Instead, they return his missing bones, sit with him on the shore, and sing him a song. And for one night, John doesn't have to be alone. 🎶 *About the Song* "The Ghost of John" takes the traditional children's Halloween round and transforms it into a spooky, funny, and bittersweet ghost story. With rattling bones, moonlit ice, a mischievous skeleton, and a chorus designed to be sung in three-part harmony, the song blends Halloween folklore with an unexpected message of compassion. The ending reminds us that sometimes the kindest thing we can do isn't to solve someone's problems, but simply to stay with them awhile. 🌙 *A Halloween song for anyone who's ever felt a little lonely.* 🎃 Listen to more original songs and reimagined classics from Berean Fruit: 🌐 https://BereanFruit.com If you enjoyed the song, please like, comment, and subscribe for more musical storytelling, forgotten folk songs, and unusual interpretations of traditional favorites. *#TheGhostOfJohn #HalloweenMusic #HalloweenSongs #GhostStory #SpookySongs #FolkMusic #HalloweenFolklore #GhostSongs #StorytellingThroughMusic #HauntingMelodies #BereanFruit #OriginalMusic #SkeletonSong #Halloween2026 #SpookySeason*
