GOL135 - Miocene Geology of Calvert Cliffs - Summer 2017

Scenes and highlights from the geology field course led by Dr. Ken Rasmussen at Northern Virginia Community College in Annadale, VA. The trip considers Miocene seas spread across the Chesapeake Bay region ~10-20 million years ago and the ancient sediments, stratigraphy, and paleoenvironments that are preserved in the world-famous Calvert Cliffs of Maryland!
