First Time Backpacking Sequoia Kings Canyon

Join me and my three kids as we take our first backpacking trip into the Sierra Mountains in Sequoia Kings Canyon National Parks. Our traditional canoe trip to Quetico Provincial Park was cancelled due to fire, so we changed plans and headed to California to experience a different kind of wilderness. Our five night trek up the Twin Lakes trail was an excellent start for our first trip and we loved every minute of the trip.
