Secret Submarine Bunkers & Abandoned Resorts in Montenegro 🇲🇪 (S2/Ep18)

Join us on a 5-day motorcycle adventure through Montenegro, riding together with Doriand (‪@DRP-ADVENTURE‬ ) along the Trans Euro Trail. Starting near the Albanian border, we follow the TET towards Podgorica and finally to Budva at the Adriatic coast. This journey is less about tough offroad tracks and more about exploring the hidden gems of Montenegro. One of our main goals was to visit a secret submarine bunker close to Rose – an impressive piece of history hidden right at the seaside. Along the way we discovered both the beautiful and the unusual: from an expensive seaside campsite to a huge abandoned hotel complex that was never completed. Exploring this forgotten building and capturing it with the drone was definitely a highlight. Of course, no trip is complete without some challenges – finding a good campsite near the coast turned out to be harder than expected. But eventually we ended up at a spot where we could walk straight to the beach, the perfect place to relax after days on the road. Back in Podgorica we also took some time to explore the city, visiting the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ and searching for a waterfall that had completely dried up in the summer heat. To keep our gear up to date, Doriand found a new microphone and I finally upgraded my toolkit with an electric tire pump – much more practical than the tiny hand pump I carried before. This trip through Montenegro may not have been filled with endless offroad tracks, but it gave us a chance to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and uncover some truly unique locations.
