Join me as I explore St Saviour’s Point at Polruan in Cornwall, a beautiful and historic headland overlooking the entrance to Fowey Harbour. Photos & Video With spectacular coastal views, the remains of the historic St Saviour’s Chapel and the South West Coast Path nearby, this is a fascinating corner of Cornwall with a story stretching back centuries. The chapel is believed to date back to around the 8th or 9th century and once stood as an important landmark for sailors entering the harbour. A beacon was also lit from its tower to help guide mariners.
