A few days' walk west of this river, a whole country is asleep and has no idea he is here. The hobbits of the Shire lock their round doors at night believing nothing ever happens in their corner of the world - and for years Aragorn and the last Rangers of the North have made sure nothing does. Wolves, orcs and worse come down out of the north and never reach a single farm. Nobody in the Shire knows his real name. In Bree they call him Strider and lower their voices when he walks in. He is the heir of Isildur, and he spends his nights on cold ground beside rivers no one will ever thank him for watching. Ever since Gandalf asked him to keep a closer eye on one hobbit-hole in Hobbiton, he has watched harder than ever - something sleeps in that house that the Dark Lord would burn the world to get back, and the hobbit who owns it doesn't know either. Tonight the woods are quiet. The fire is small, the water keeps moving in the dark, and for a few hours nothing is coming down the road. He lets himself sit. Whatever you have been carrying alone, you can set it down for tonight too. Disclaimer: This is an unofficial fan-made ambience video inspired by The Lord of the Rings. I am not affiliated with Warner Bros., the Tolkien Estate, or any official rights holders. Music is original, visuals are fan art. If you enjoyed my Aragorn in Rivendell or Aragorn's Last Night in Rivendell sessions, this is the road between them - the ranger years, out in the wild, made for quiet evenings, slow thinking and letting go of the day. #LordOfTheRings #Aragorn #Strider #Rangers #StressRelief #AmbientMusic
