(Its not always so) Black and White [FFXIV Heavensward SB Mix]

It's that time again. So Black and White will always be the song I think of when I remember Heavensward, first time I got to the Western Highlands at night this was playing and it fit the mood of the whole thing so well. But as I worked on it more I began to think about HW and Haurchefant in general, went over to the gravesite and thought to myself about what kind of stories the warrior of light would tell their friend. After every expansion, would they return to the grave and tell them about their adventures? I thought so, and as I did that's kind of what gave me the direction for this one, the idea that we don't hesitate because he never did. He was never anything more than a sundered mortal, we're something more. And yet when the time came, he didn't hesitate to make that sacrifice. What right then do we have, what excuse do we have to not do the same? So when we return to the grave and tell him our stories, I like to think it would make him smile. Alright nerd moment over.
